Exhibition: Scars on the City, Edinburgh in World War 1
Scars on the City, Edinburgh in World War 1
This exhibition created by Edinburgh Museums & Galleries (City of Edinburgh Council) explores the impact of World War I on the people and places of Edinburgh. Find out about the night the Zeppelins came, dropping bombs over the city. Hear about the misery of rationing, the daily grind of war work and the fun and excitement of wartime games and toys. Striking film footage and photographs help to bring to life the time when war came charging off the battlefield and up to our front doors.
Exhibition located on 2nd floor near wagamama and handmade burger Co.
