Yes, we know it’s not that warm yet, but it will soon be time to swap that winter scarf for a spring scarf. Scarves are a great fashion invention – they keep us warm, they brighten up an outfit, and they’re the most cheap and cheerful way of adding something new to your wardrobe when you can’t splash out on a new outfit. Spring scarves are us!
So, this week, our weekly wishlist is spring scarves, scarves, scarves. Loads of them, all different, all lovely and all waiting for a new neck to adorn!
H&M’s retro print square scarf has a fab 1970s vibe (£7.99). If you prefer something a bit more boho, then their black knitted scarf with tassels is a great winter to spring scarf (£14.99).
Floral scarves make great spring scarves -and great gifts. BHS’s dark blue scarf with rose florals is bold and bright (£12), and H&M’s pale floral tube scarf is subtle and chic (£6.99).
Red Herring @ Debenhams have a fantastic red white and blue stripe scarf (£10) – stick that on when you head to the Britannia! And for spring to summer, they have a fantastically playful flamingo print scarf (£10). Who doesn’t love flamingos? They scream happy!
If green’s your thing, with St Paddy’s day coming up, then GAP’s traditional bandana comes in a floral print in green and white (£9.95) and Claire’s Accessories’ green chevron stripe tube scarf is perfect shades of green (£6.30, was £9).
Louche @ JOY’s grey and cream scarf is a more subdued affair, but ever so stylish. French Connection’s palm leaf print scarf is big – big enough to wrap over sunkissed shoulders come summer too (£45).
BHS’s pom pom trimmed scarf (£12) is a bit of frivolity in the scarves world, as is White Stuff’s grey scarf with pink neon tassel trim (£22.50). GAP’s embroidered stripe scarf is big and pretty, and a classic spring scarf (£19.95)
White Stuff have TONS of lovely spring scarves, but our absolute favourite (for now!) is this pretty multi-coloured love heart print number (£19.95).
