Todd Lynn/Edition is the latest Designers at Debenhams collection, launched this week. Debenhams’ first designer collaborations were with Philip Treacy and Ben De Lisi back in 1993 – the department store were collaborating with designers more than a decade before H&M, TopShop and the likes.
Todd Lynn joins Marios Schwab, Jonathan Saunders and Roksanda Ilincic and more in the Edition range, with a collection of 12 key pieces –most of them black, for Autumn Winter.
Todd Lynn was born in Canada and is a graduate of Central Saint Martins in London. But he began his career making bespoke creations for musicians including U2 and The Rolling Stones, before founding his eponymous label.
You can see the rock’n’ roll influence in his designers, and this Edition collection is very different to those already in store. There are no bold colours and pretty frocks here, save for one red dress.
This collection is mainly black and leather, taking direct inpsiration from his catwalk collections. His 12-piece collection of leather separates includes biker jackets and skirts, a flare-cut coat, and a leather-sleeved, ribbed, sweater
The collection is available in stores and at debenhams.com now, prices from £55
Please note that we always endeavour to feature items that are available in Ocean Terminal, however sometimes items featured may be out of stock, and prices may vary due to seasonal reductions
