It’s spring – the flowers should be out, and colour should be creeping back into our world – but the recent cold blast and snow has kept some shades of spring in the dark.
Not at The Body Shop though, where the new Colour Crush Eyeshadows will brighten up any dull day. There are 30 shades of these new, mono shadows.
The spectrum ranges from elegant beiges, to bright, shocking pinks, and the finishes are a mix of pearly and matte finishes. The shadows are buildable, and can be applied wet or dry, worn alone or together or layered.
The recyclable packaging means you can see the colour, so easy to find in your makeup box, if you have a few of them. The pigment is great, and the shadows contain a blend of Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil, marula oil, honey, organic virgin coconut oil and sesame oil.
The shadows are, of course, 100% Cruelty free- there is no bug shell extract to colour the product, shimmer effects come from mineral mica, and binding agents are made from natural vegetable materials, instead of crushed shellfish – yes, that does happen!
The Body Shop celebrated the EU ban on Animal Testing for cosmetics on March 11.
The best bit is the shadows are just £7 each – so mix and match and play with colour!
