Spring trends top ten

It’s officially spring. Actually, it’s officially British Summer Time, but let’s not get too excited. Last time we stepped outside it was freezing. But…there’s no time like the present to get your wardrobe prepped for the warmer days.

So, we’re talking spring trends today – and our top ten. The spring trends we think you will want to indulge in, and those you should start bringing into your outfits now.

It’s bold, it’s bright, and it’s everywhere. We’re told orange is a difficult colour to wear, but we say it’s how you wear it that counts. It’s the boldest of spring trends to embrace, and we reckon it looks at its very best on a bright orange dress. If a small splash of orange suits you better, try  simple top. It looks brilliant on holiday, with a sunshine glow.

Back to Nature

Who doesn’t love the great outdoors? Well, okay, it’s not for everyone, but here’s a way of getting close to nature, without, well, getting close to nature! Wear it!

From shell to leaf prints, to hints of animals here and there, this is nature style at its very best. And no florals here. Think nature – but no flowers, okay?

So, think leaf prints, like this fab palm print on this beautiful midi dress from French Connection (£125). It’s edgy, contemporary, but still brings you up close and personal with nature!
