A bit fed up of the dark days, miserable weather and winter clothes? Now the festive season is all but over, it’s time to look ahead to what the spring collections will bring. First up is a sneak peek at the New Look Spring 2014 collections.
Split into four themes, the New Look Spring 2014 look encompasses many of the trends we will all be wearing come spring. Animal motifs, batik prints, pinks, stonewashed denim, more grunge, loose trousers, wide trousers, polka dots and retro shapes.
The first trend of the New Look Spring 2014 look is California Dreamin’. Think denim shirts, fringed kimono tops, long skirts, batik prints, animal motifs, and lots of clashing patterns and textures.
The second trend for the New Look Spring 2014 is Neon Bloom – a mix of bold bright florals, and gorgeous pastels. Oh and pink, pink, pink! Pink will be popular come spring, carrying on from autumn winter.
Number three trend for New Look Spring 2014 is called Tomorrow’s Yesterday, with, obviously, a retro vibe. Flick your eyeliner out, beehive your hair, and get involved in polka dots, pencil skirts, bold prints, monochrome, wide palazzo pants a la the 1940s screen stars. Love it!
Finally, the fourth New Look Spring 1014 trend is Seattle Grunge. Yes, 1990s grunge is here to stay, in a summer style. That means lots more bright acid pink, stonewashed denim (it’s a little bit 1980s) mixed up with tropical prints, culottes, tropical florals and an attitude!
Please note that we always endeavour to feature items that are available in Ocean Terminal, however sometimes items featured may be out of stock, and prices may vary due to seasonal reductions
