Pastel pink prettiness!

Pastels. You’re going to see them EVERYWHERE this spring. You may even be sick of them, come, ooh, April, perhaps? Pastel pink is the most popular pastel choice, so we thought we would start there, and bring you the best of the pastel pink styles in the stores already.

Pastel pink is a lovely transitional colour to wear from winter in to spring. If the palest of pastel pink shades is too much, then try a more candy version. There is a lot of pink on its way into the stores in every shade this spring, so pastel pink won’t be your only choice.

But for now we will focus on the nudest, blush, powdery shades of pastel pink. A pastel pink coat is a great way to wear this shade. The pink coat was last autumn winter’s musthave coat, and the trend extends to this spring.

Gorgeous pink tailoring is an excellent choice for a spring wedding – mix it up a bit though, with shorts, instead of a skirt.

Pretty Pastels summer wedding fashion

One day we’re colour blocking, the next it’s all pretty pastels here on the Ocean Terminal blog. That’s how we roll!

If bold and bright is not your thing, how about subtle pastels – perfect for a summer wedding.

Baby blue, mint green, pale pink and lemon yellow are the four key pastel shads to look for. Mix them up for perfect pastel style head to toe, or wear one pastel head to toe – just be careful your shades match.

Gorgeous mint green is beautiful on redheads, blondes and brunettes – perfectly flattering to pale and olive skin tones alike, it’s a winning pastel.

Pretty pastel lemon is a lovely, fresh summer colour – much easier to wear than bold yellow.

Pale pink is a perennial favourite at weddings – be careful not to look too cutesy in pale pink! Try slightly duskier shades, as opposed to true baby pale pinks.

Finally, baby blue is a lovely colour, but can be cold. Try mixing it up with some lavender or lilac for a warmer, pretty pastel look, or using textures and patterns to break it up.
