Lounging About in Lounging Wear

Getting all dressed up for party season is all well and good, but somtimes we just feel like staying home and lounging about.

And to do that you need lounging wear. We’re not talking sweats here, but actual full-on lounging wear – from pyjamas to onesies, with everyhing inbetween – and don’t forget the hot water bottles!

It’s the Christmas holiday season, so go festive with your lounging wear. We love these Elf PJs (£17.99, New Look) – watch the movie in these, of course! Or get cosy in a cute penguin onesie (£17.99, New Look).

Christmas Novelty style – Weekly Wishlist

It’s Christmas! I know, I keep saying that, but well, it’s only a couple of weeks away now! So, time to get that Christmas novelty style sorted! We’re not specifically talking Christmas jumpers yet- more on those later. For now, let’s look at Christmas novelty style, and a few cute festive bits and bobs thrown in for good measure.

This week’s Weekly Wishlist has a dozen things we’re coveting right now to get us even more into the festive mood!

Who doesn’t love baubles? Every year you should add at least a couple of new decorations to your collection. And the best bit about these  super-cute owl  and sparkly sort of hundreds and thousands baubles from Debenhams (prices vary) is that you can probably keep them up around the house for the rest of year. Why not, we say?!

New Look’s Gingerbread man clutch (£12.99) is the only bag to carry this festive season, right? Kittens in elf gear? Yes! We are loving the Elfie Selfie t-shirt from New Look (£7.99) Maybe you’re not loving it though? Then this Bah Humbug! jumper from Debenhams (£20) is for you. Maybe you could get yourself a wee bit in the mood with a Christmas jumper encased hip flask?! (£10, JOY). Oh, go on …

weekly wishlist christmas novelty styleCosy slippers and a onesie are the perfect Christmas novelty style, agreed? We plan to spend quite a large amount of time over the festive period in these, on our sofas, eating chocolates. Debenhams’ Christmas pudding onesie (£32.50) is full-on; at BHS, this cute red festive print onesie (£12.50) is a little bit more subtle. Big Santa slippers (£10.99, New Look), or more subtle knitted reindeer slippers (£12.50, Debenhams)? You decide.

Novelty socks are a bit of a laugh, agreed? Just make sure these Stance socks (£10, Schuh) are not all you gift someone this Christmas. A gorgeous sequin reindeer cushion (£28, Debenhams) could probably be left on the sofa after the festivities are over, right? It’s too good to pack away for 11 months of the year!

Finally, say Season’s Greetings to everyone, with some Christmas novelty style in the way of a cute Robin in boots t-shirt (£14, BHS) Everybody say ‘Awww’!

What’s your Christmas novelty style?
