Lounging About in Lounging Wear

Getting all dressed up for party season is all well and good, but somtimes we just feel like staying home and lounging about.

And to do that you need lounging wear. We’re not talking sweats here, but actual full-on lounging wear – from pyjamas to onesies, with everyhing inbetween – and don’t forget the hot water bottles!

It’s the Christmas holiday season, so go festive with your lounging wear. We love these Elf PJs (£17.99, New Look) – watch the movie in these, of course! Or get cosy in a cute penguin onesie (£17.99, New Look).

Pyjamas (and the rest!) for that extra hour!

The clocks go back this weekend, so we get an extra hour in bed! Result. I do love this every year. who doesn’t love their bed?! So, maybe time to get some new nightwear? Let’s be honest, most of us acquire our pyjamas and nighties at Christmas, no?

Why are we so rubbish at treating ourselves to new nightwear? Surely it’s a musthave for all of us! So, don’t wait until Christmas this year, treat yourself to something new in the nightwear department right now.

If old-school, men’s style pyjamas are your thing, you’re in luck. There are tons of them around this year. In brushed cotton, flannel and silk, from florals to tartans to subtle prints, these are cosiness personified in the nightwear stakes.

Maybe short and sexy is more your thing? Yes, it’s not cosy, granted, but there is a time when a silky chemise is the perfect nightwear, agreed? Bring the retro back with this selection.

Lounging around in your pyjamas is okay on certain days of the week. In the winter, I love to get into mine as soon as I can once dinner is over. But never, ever wear them out, okay? Perhaps a more t-shirt and joggers style is your favourite? Or a good old long johns style onesie?!
