Olympic metallics

Are you a gold, silver or bronze? We’d all want to win gold in the Olympics, right? But which of the Olympic metallics would you prefer to wear? Gold, silver, or bronze.

Gorgeous gold is the winner in the Olympics, and maybe the winner in the Olympic metallics choice for you. Sparkles, sequins, metallic, patent, leather, and, well, more sparkle. We love gold. It looks fantastic on all skintones. It works in summer and winter, and it can look classy and uber-casual. Team with denim, more gold or browns to bring it out at the top of the podium, its rightful place.

Metallic Moment

Every autumn/winter there’s a metallic moment in fashion, right? It kind of goes with the territory, especially around the festive season. This year is no different. Well, actually, it is a wee bit different.

Some of that metallic moment this autumn/winter will be heavily influenced by the 1970s trend – and lurex is the fabric you are going to love! Fabric that incorporates a glittery thread, that’s lurex, and you are going to love it.

Like this gorgeous midi dress from French Connection (£75), for example? How can you not love this dress?
