Cute clutches

Everyone needs a few handbags in their wardrobe. You need a tote for everyday use, a shopper for when you need to carry a lot, maybe a satchel for uni, or a backpack? A cross body-bag, a shoulder bag, and a whole load of cute clutches.

So, yeah, you need more than a few handbags in your wardrobe. Let’s focus on cute clutches in this week’s weekly wishlist. They’re big news this season – the bigger the better as well, with a definite nod  to the 1970s, when clutches were THE bag of choice.

Clutches were also a favourite as far back as the 1940s, and are uber-cool handbags, if not that practical at time. Where do you put them when you have a drink and food in your hands? The simple answer is tucked under your arm!

This season clutches are big and bold in block colours, or colurful and fringed, perfect for the boho folk look that’s everywhere this summer. A beaded or metallic clutch is a perfect evening bag for a posh affair, and they’re great for weddings.

Shaped or slouchy, you can move away from the regular rectangular clutch shape, and, if your clutch has a hidden strap inside, or a cute little wrist strap, even better.

Here’s our pick of the very best cute clutches on offer at Ocean Terminal stores.
