Flares Five Ways

Flares! Have you got your flares yet? Are you embracing the return of this jeans shape, or still struggling to slip out of your skinnies?

If that’s the case – and we think it will be with a lot of us – then here’s a handy little guide to how to do flares five ways – five fabulous ways to wear the only cut of jean you should be wearing this season.

First up, before flares five ways, let’s look at the flares. There are two styles of flares around this season – kick flares, and wide leg flares. Kick flares are like a more extreme version of that old classic, the bootcut, and more like the classic 1970s bell-bottomed flare. But MUCH better! Wide legs are wider all the way down, rather than the flared part kicking out from the knee, and are super comfortable.

Keep those wedges high, but with a silver sparkle like these from New Look (£19.99). Add a cute sequinned top from French Connection (£110) and carry a metallic clutch (£25, Edition by Todd Lynn @ Debenhams) and you’re good to go.
