Yes, it’s that time of year again – time for Christmas jumpers! We seem to have to buy them earier and earlier every year to ensure they don’t sell out, agreed?
Christmas jumpers are a fact of life now, so time to embrace the trend, Grinch and Scrooge, and get with the Christmas jumper love!
There are so many to choose from now, and some are subtle, some not so, and some just lots of fun.
So, let’s start our Weekly Wishlist round-up of Christmas jumpers with the silly – the little lady elf from Red Herring @ Debenhams (£20), maybe? Robins are a lovely festive thing, right? And a favourite of Chistmas jumpers – from cartoon to subtle. White Stuff’s multi-robin jumper (£55), where only one reveals his red breast is very sweet. Over at BHS (£25), a larger, somewhat fatter Robin is looking for festive love with mistletoe in his beak!
And at JOY, a bright turquoise sweater (£45) sports a lovely robin with a cute hat on!
Maybe reindeers are more your festive thing when it comes to creatures of the season? Louche @ JOY’s vintage deer sweater (£45) is definitely in the classy Christmas jumpers category. And Warehouse @ Debenhams reindeer motif on grey sweater (£42) is stylish and subtle, as well as seasonal.
But if you want bright and bold, head to H&M for their red sweater (£14.99) with a lovely sequinned leaping reindeer.
BHS’s fluffy black jumper (£28) with tree motif is one of the cosiest looking Christmas jumpers here. BHS also have a cute polar bear design on a grey knit (£25), and there’s another polar bear, baring his belly, on Louche @ JOY’s sweater (£45).
Maybe slogans are your Christmas jumpers thing? Then New Look’s ‘mornings’ sweater is perfect, and funny (£19.99), or their Sleigh Bells Bling captures the zeitgeist perfectly!
