After a very long – too long- winter, it’s definitely time to add a little bit of summer glow to our complexions. For that, you’ll need a bronzer, and there are loads on the market. Here are a few of our favourite.

Clarins Splendours Summer Bronzing Compact (£30, Debenhams), is a gorgeous over-sized compact with two shades of bronzer, terracotta and brown with a shimmering gold heart for luminosity.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Luminous Liquid Bronzer (£30, from May, Debenhams), is a limited, lovely, easy to use liquid bronzer, perfect for a sheer, natural bronze – adding a subtle glow to your sunkissed-skin!
YSL Terre Saharienne Matte Bronzer (£34, Debenhams, from May), is a classic bronzer, reinvented each year. This season it’s matte, and comes in three shades -Terre Amber, for light, rosy complexions, Terre Ochre, natural looking, luminous tanned effect, and Terre Tan, to brighten darker complexions and sculpt the face.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Powder (£30, from May, Debenhams), now comes in four shades – light, medium, medium deep and deep, so you can choose the right one for your complexion. Has a delicate shimmer that reflects like, and is buildable for contouring.
The Body Shop Baked-To-Last Bronzer, (£16, The Body Shop) is a natural-looking bronzer with a subtle shimmer. It’s handmade, slow-baked on a terracotta disc. Comes in two shades – Warm Glow and Golden Bronze.
