Fringe Fashion!

The Edinburgh Festival and Fringe starts this week – so that’s the perfect excuse for a tenuous fashion link – and some fringe fashion!

Fringe fashion means fringing – not necessarily a trend for this year, but one of fashion’s perennials. Always time for a bit of fringing, right? Perfect for boots and bags, this fringe fashion trend extends to jewellery too – earrings and necklaces with bold fringing look fantastic with a simple dress.

Fringing adds something to a simple black dress. We also love the unusual chiffon petal fringing effect on this cami top from Principles by Ben De Lisi for Debenhams (available September 1).

New Look’s bold red vest with fringed necklace is a fringe fashion treat, as is this gorgeous lace fringed shawl-style cover-up which will take you from now right through to Christmas!
