Denim Days

Denim Days. Think summer, a walk on the beach, a cute little dress and a denim jacket. Think a festival, a fringed top and denim cut off shorts. Think work in the city in the summer, and a denim shirt dress and heels.

Forget just jeans, denim is a wardrobe staple, and you really should own at least one denim jacket, perhaps a skirt or dress, and maybe shorts.

Denim is comfortable, casual, sophisticated and stylish. It’s all of these things and more.

if you’re looking for casual , then jeans are it. Try stepping out of the skinny jeans we’ve all been wearing for years now, and opt for something a bit more chic – like these dark straight leg jeans from GAP (£49.95)Denim days GAP jeansDungarees are having a bit of a fashion moment, so if you haven’t hopped on yet, make sure you get yourself a pair soon. Spring trends top ten

It’s officially spring. Actually, it’s officially British Summer Time, but let’s not get too excited. Last time we stepped outside it was freezing. But…there’s no time like the present to get your wardrobe prepped for the warmer days.

So, we’re talking spring trends today – and our top ten. The spring trends we think you will want to indulge in, and those you should start bringing into your outfits now.

It’s bold, it’s bright, and it’s everywhere. We’re told orange is a difficult colour to wear, but we say it’s how you wear it that counts. It’s the boldest of spring trends to embrace, and we reckon it looks at its very best on a bright orange dress. If a small splash of orange suits you better, try  simple top. It looks brilliant on holiday, with a sunshine glow.
