Supermodel of the moment Cara Delevigne is the face of the new YSL Baby Doll mascara, launching at the end of this month.
The gorgeous model has the perfect look for this mascara, designed to give you that 1960s-inspired ‘babydoll’ look. She has more than a hint of the Twiggy about her, we think.
The YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Baby Doll – to give it its full name – has a high-tech formula – it utilises graphene, a carbon crystal isolated in 2004 by two Nobel Prize (Physics) winning scientists.
And the mascara has a flexible multi-faceted brush, designed to get to those little eyelashes you can’t even really see, creating that ‘babydoll’ wide-eyed look.
“This mascara is everything I’ve ever dreamed of,” says YSL Beaute Creative Director, Lloyd Simmonds. “It’s a mascara that curls and separates the lashes to give them the ideal thickness without ever weighing them down. The mascara is perfectly distributed – one by one, each last is curled. It’s incredibly easy to apply; the final touch for beautiful eyes.”
The mascara comes in four shades; Fetish Black, Wheedler Brown, Audacious Blue and Indiscreet Purple, and costs £24.50, available at YSL, Debenhams, from May 22.
