Mark Bradley is swapping G69 for EH6 this Sunday when he pops into the Limited Edition store to chat with customers about his clothing label.
The Glaswegian designer – the G69 is the East End postcode of his company – will be in the Limited Edition store this Sunday (December 7) from 3-4pm, so pop along and have a chat with him!
Before that Mark has worked as a roofer for five years, but decided he wanted to swap the scaffolding for the studio.
Mark explained: “I’ve always been interested in fashion, design and clothing. I left school at 17 and my dad offered me a job in roofing so I just went into it to earn money as it was the easy option.
“I’d been full-time in construction for five years, but eventually I’d had enough of working in the rain. My dad always knew where my interests lay so told me just to go for it.
“So I was studying fashion at Cardonald three or four times a week and when I wasn’t in, I was working on the building site.”
Mark’s label is heavily influenced by his nationality – and tartan features strongly in his latest collection.
