It’s Christmas! Well, nearly! So, here’s our homage to that classic festive tune, The Twelve Days of Christmas, with our Twelve Days of Christmas fashion!
Christmas fashion means sparkly things, sequins, gorgeous dresses, jewels, cosy coats, sparkly shoes, comfortable boots, and more. Today, we’re covering the first six days – and no partridge, pear tree, or turtle doves in sight.
Instead, our Christmas fashion version has a cosy coat, some sparkly tops and a lot of jewels!
So, on the first day of Christmas fashion, on my shopping spree … a warm winter coat for me! How could you not be cosy in this fab fake fur leopard print winter warmer from H&M? (£59.99)
On the second day of Christmas, on my shopping spree … two sparkly tops… Don’t want to do the whole party dress thing? Don’t have to. A sparkly top and some trousers or a skirt or even your jeans is a perfect nod to Christmas fashion. Ramp it up with New Look’s sequin kimono style top (£34.99), or play it safe with French Connection’s glitter detail top (£95).
On the third day of Christmas, on my shopping spree … three pairs of boots … Knee high boots have made a bit of a comeback this season. New Look’s suede heeled version (£49.99) aren’t great in the snow, but they look fab! French Connection’s chain detail boots (£195) are great if you like flats, and if you want a small heel, Schuh (£110) has just the thing.
On the fourth day of Christmas, on my shopping spree … five necklaces … Jazz up a plain and simple dress or top with a big old statement necklace. JOY’s gold chained pastel stone necklace is pretty, whilst H&M’s red stone piece (£24.99) is a bold statement. Bright coloured chains make a bold necklace at New Look (£14.99), and French Connection’s tortoiseshell stones (£28) are more subtle. Finally how fab is this huge jewelled statement necklace from Jenny Packham @ Debenhams (£45)?
On the sixth day of Christmas, on my shopping spree … six pairs of earrings … If necklaces aren’t your thing, how about a bold pair of earrings? Have fun with Claire’s Merry Christmas drops (£3.50) and JOY’s stag studs (£6). H&M’s geometric glitter drops (£3.99) have a Deco feel to them, as do New Look’s black and white pattern drops (£7.99). We love Jon Richard @ Debenhams green drops (£10) and their diamante chandelier style statement earrings (£12).
What would be on your Twelve Days of Christmas fashion shopping spree list?
